Commercial Videoshoot

Been a great week of commercial video shoots, real estate photography, and working on some logo designs for small businesses. Even managed to sneak in a little decoy carving time. This foldable cart has been worth it's weight in gold. Especially on gear heavy video shoots.

Jumping into the Mirrorless Pond

Finally took the plunge and got a mirrorless DSLR. I've been shooting professionally now for over 15 years. While mirrorless cameras have been around for some time I didn't feel the tech or image quality had passed what I was shooting with until recently. Canon, which is what I've always shot with, also takes their time to develop new cameras. Looking forward to using the R6 on my upcoming shoots and seeing first hand how it compares.

New Gimbal for Video Projects

Video Gimbal

With the amount of inquiries in recent weeks from business's it's clear how useful they view video as a tool to reach their customers. So with that in mind, I decided to do my part to "stimulate" the economy and upgrade my gimbal system. Excited to use this Zhiyun Crane 3 LAB on some upcoming projects. Already liking the improved ergonomic design over my old set up.

Videography for the National Dairy Shrine

Video Restoration

Now that peak photography season has passed I've been able to finish up some larger projects. This week I completed a series of videos for the National Dairy Shrine archives. Learned some new skills in order to clean up some of the older audio recordings from the 1950's.
Fort Atkinson is very fortunate to have top notch museums like the Dairy Shrine and the Hoard Historical Museum.
My next project is a large website rebuild and rebrand for an association. Will be able start some decoy carving after Christmas too.
