Amanda and Aaron

Have to love that warm autumn light we had for Amanda and Aaron's engagement session. Looking forward to capturing their wedding next fall!

You or a couple you know looking for a photographer for next year? I still have some dates available for next season.

Annual Andre Family Session

It’s always great to photograph this growing family. This year we decided to do our shoot by Milford Hills near Watertown, Wisconsin. In between taking photos there was lots of rock climbing, playing with sticks, racing, and admiring grandpas mustache.

A fun project I've been helping with came to life today! From marketing materials to label design I've been working with Mangiami Italiano as they start make and sell their own marinara sauce. Right now it's available at the restaurant, the Lake Mills Farmers market, and soon coming to local stores.

New 100mm Macro lens

Some colorful photos to brighten your Sunday. Trying out my newest lens in the yard this morning, the RF 100mm F2.8L Macro. Will be great for taking close up detail shots at weddings and as another portrait lens with its 100mm focal length.

Jumping into the Mirrorless Pond

Finally took the plunge and got a mirrorless DSLR. I've been shooting professionally now for over 15 years. While mirrorless cameras have been around for some time I didn't feel the tech or image quality had passed what I was shooting with until recently. Canon, which is what I've always shot with, also takes their time to develop new cameras. Looking forward to using the R6 on my upcoming shoots and seeing first hand how it compares.
